Her professional path has been shaped by years of immersive training in yoga, sequencing, and holistic health—allowing her to support clients not just physically, but energetically and intuitively.

A Foundation in Movement
& the Arts
Melissa’s relationship with movement began long before yoga—rooted in dance, performance, and disciplined artistic training. She started ballet training at the age of 10 in Oregon, and by 16, she was a principal dancer with the Rainbow Dance Theatre in Monmouth, Oregon. While earning her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009, she danced with the Latin Ballet of Virginia and taught in the LBV School of Dance.
This deep foundation in movement continues to shape her teaching today—bringing together strength, grace, discipline, and creativity in every class she offers.

Family and Motherhood
Melissa’s greatest joy and sense of purpose in life has come from becoming a mother and she most enjoys her time outdoors, traveling, and being with her family.
Training & Certifications
Melissa’s teaching is supported by years of formal training and continued education across yoga, movement, and holistic health.

Melissa’s Approach
Melissa believes wellness is not about fixing the body—it’s about understanding it.
Her teaching style is intuitive, inclusive, and rooted in the belief that sustainable health comes from alignment between mind, body, and lifestyle. Each session is an invitation to slow down, tune in, and move with intention—creating space for strength, clarity, and lasting transformation.
Each session is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and move with intention—building strength, clarity, and trust over time.
